Flu season approaching 

The first stocks of flu vaccine will arrive during the last week in September. If you are in one of the at-risk groups, please book an appointment for your flu jab. At risk groups include the following:- Over 65s. Those with a chronic lung, kidney or liver condition. Pregnant women. Those on drugs that reduce the immune response. Diabetics. Asthmatics. Those with chronic heart disease.

It is advisable to have a jab against bacterial pneumonia at the same time.
